    Yesterday, September 3rd at 17:45 CET Accedo One Public APIs experienced a short period of elevated API response times that may have been noticed by applications implementing stricter timeouts on certain API calls. The issues been identified to be caused by a congestion due to instantaneous growth of inbound traffic to the system. Response times returned to normal by 17:58 CET. As always, we recommend our customers to ensure they implement retry mechanisms with exponential back-off, to allow all systems to gracefully recover in the event of congestion/timeout build-ups. During the incident we have identified more efficient scaling metrics for some of the underlying services which are now in place since 18:00 CET. Additional measures to protect the system are being prepared and will be rolled out over the course of the coming month.
